Small World Theatre welcomes you on 8 September to an evening in the company of Nawang N. Anja-Tsang (Sonam), a UK-based Tibetan. Sonam will share his experience of a voyage of discovery to Ladakh, in search of his living cultural identity. Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets are £8 on the door.
The evening will include "Little Tibet" a film he made of his journey. Moving and funny, you will gain an understanding of the challenges he faced travelling through inhospitable terrain, the warmth of welcomes, eccentric encounters, living traditions and evocative vistas of the dramatic and unspoilt landscape.
There will be a question and answer session with Sonam afterwards and delicious food and drink. Please come along and support this fascinating evening.
