Spring Greens

A SMALL WORLD THEATRE ACTIVITY
Join Lara and Tom for a full day course discovering what shoots are up and edible. This is the first of the foraging walks and after a long cold winter you will be looking for spring shoots traditionally eaten to cleanse and wake us from our winter hibernation!

The day is spent learning how to identify and responsibly harvest edible plants. You'll be given tips for preparing and cooking various dishes. Please bring a basket as you'll be gathering enough wild food to prepare a delicious lunch outdoors! Wear walking shoes and warm weatherproof clothes. Suitable for all ages. Places are limited so book early!

Booking a place on this activity ~ Terms and Conditions

Please help us by booking early and definitely by 4 April, booking is essential as numbers are limited to 15. As this is a bespoke workshop, it is run with minimum and maximum numbers in mind and carefully calculate so that the costs of the materials and the leaders' fees are covered by the course fees.  

Payment
We require full payment before the workshop and we recommend paying for your place online. Please present a printed copy of your emailed booking confirmation to the workshop leader on arrival.
Alternatively Small World Centre is open Tuesday - Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm if you'd like to pay in cash/ cheque. A member of staff will be available during these opening times to advise you. Tickets are non-refundable except when a workshop is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, in which case Small World will refund you.
