An evening where you will experience traditional Welsh and Irish music played from the heart. Featuring two renowned figures of the music scene - Alan Burke and Ceri Rhys Matthews, with support from Martyn Ashe. Plus a delicious meal from Maya's kitchen and bar, all in the newly renovate Newport Memorial Hall, Pembrokeshire.

Alan Burke: A unique voice which has been described as 'full of power, sensitivity and clarity'. His guitar playing equals his moving voice and together they take the audience on a journey of the soul. Alan started his singing career fronting the Irish band Afterhours and has gone to work with many different musicians including Cathal Hayden, Paddy Glackin, Donal Lunny, Damien Dempsey, John McSherry. Alan has also worked as a record producer, researcher and TV presenter on the Irish language channel TG4.
Ceri Rhys Mathews: Stunningly playing the flute, bagpipe, guitar & song, Ceri Rhys Matthews has been called "a key figure in the renaissance of Welsh musical traditions"Songlines, and described as "a one man Welsh music industry". Part of the amazing band Fernhill with Julie Murphy, Ceri is also a music producer his many successes include the Rough Guide to the Music of Wales for World Music Network and in 2009, he produced Blodeugerdd: Song of the Flowers - An Anthology of Welsh Music which came first in the Independent Music Awards for Best World Traditional Album.
