Scarecrow Making Workshop

Homemade scarecrows can be quite fashionable and eye-catching and traditionally are set up in gardens and fields to keep away unwanted birds.  Get creating and make your own scarecrow this spring!

We are inviting you and your family to make your own scarecrow using the materials we provide and under the guidance of Small World Theatre artists.

Small World Theatre has some great scary scarecrow ideas and will help you with your design. You don't need to be a good artist or crafts person, but you need a fun imagination and the willingness to have a go! When the growing season is over, keep your scarecrow dry and safe for next year.

We are recommending a family with small children might like to build their scarecrow together at a family rate of £15 per family of 4, or individuals aged 13 + can work on their own at £8/ £5 per person.
