You're all invited to this event starting at 7.30pm on Saturday 21 April. This evening promises to be a poetry reading with a difference!

There are five Pembrokeshire poets involved, all of whom having been published widely in magazines and book form will be presenting choice selections of their works with an emphasis distinctly on the light hearted and the humorous.

Those who find poetry readings a tedious way of spending an evening out should find that they will be more than pleasantly surprised by he lively and engaging presentation

The poets themselves could not be more different from each other. For example the thoughtful narratives and gentle miniatures of Ann Byrne- Sutton in contrast with the underlying violence and sexual tension of Paul Steffan-Jones, or the troubadour-like lyricism of Charlie Sharp compared with the sharp wit and intellect of Alex Barr.

There will also be the launch of two new volumes of poetry and a preview of three others. The event is presented by Starborn Books founded a decade or so ago by Peter Oram (the fifth poet) and Phil Forder

Live music will be provided by guitarist Roger Winfield. Admission is FREE and there will be a bar available.
