Master Class Mosaic Workshops

This 4 day course will teach you more about the mosaic process from design to completed piece(s) with experienced artist and tutor Teena Gould. It may be a follow-on for students who have enjoyed the taster session on 15th April, or it might be that you are already familiar with the techniques and have in mind to create a piece under Teena's guidance.

The course is primarily practical and hands-on. Students are encouraged to experiment with materials, application and design. Although mosaic process, cutting and technique will be taught, there will be an emphasis on creativity and originality.

Alongside this teaching there will be a time to look at historical and contemporary mosaic in a variety of materials and situations and students will be encouraged to evaluate their work and share ideas as a group.

The four day course will run over four consecutive weeks and £150 covers students tuition, tools and materials. Students are encouraged to bring along their own mosaics if they have a particular piece in mind.
