An evocative and challenging multimedia production commemorating a quarter of a century since the miners' strike of 1984. Young people of Mess Up The Mess Theatre Company work alongside professional artists to create a vibrant and dynamic performance of conflict and allegiance, pinpointing highs and lows from local women's perspectives of this controversial time.

From distributing food parcels to those most in need, to picketing and marching, women were in the thick of the action standing up for their values and community.  This unique production promises to provide a fresh snapshot on a time that has defined modern Britain.
