Know your Mushrooms

We are delighted to welcome Phil Roberts, an avid mushroom forager with 25 years experience to lead the guided walk with Lara and Tom, bringing new knowledge of wild food to this group activity. This popular activity accepts pre-bookings only.

This is a lovely Sunday activity that'll bring knowledge to your table.  The organisers will meet you at Small World Centre and take you to the first woodland.  You may go to more than one destination so please make sure you have transport or are able to car share.

This activity is planned to be about 3 hours, but it may go on for longer so again be prepared with warm, waterproof gear and good footwear.

We have recently changed the scheduled date and time from an evening event to daytime so that the light will be better for spotting mushrooms!  We have also extended the hours and you are advised to bring a packed lunch with you.
