October is the month for ripe berries and juicy sweet fruits. Join local professional forager Jade Mellor in an Autumnal foray to gather a selection of wild bounty to turn into delicious seasonal preserves.

You will start the day with a walk from Small World Theatre around the hedgerows to forage for berries and fruits then take them back to the kitchen to turn them into delicious wild berry syrup and spicy hawthorn ketchup. Recipes and materials are included and you will have a bottle of each to take home with you.
Places are limited, so please book early. Our bespoke workshops are run with minimum and maximum numbers in mind so that materials and leaders' fees are covered by the course fees. Your place can only be held provisionally until we have received the full payment from you. We recommend paying for your ticket online and please present a printed copy of your receipt on arrival. Alternatively Small World Centre's open times are Tuesday - Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm if you'd like to pay in cash/ cheque. Tickets are non-refundable except when a workshop is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, in which case Small World will refund you. Thank you.
