Cardigan Quays Festival 2012

The annual Cardigan Quays Festival celebrates Cardigan's rich cultural and maritime heritage. We have some great family fun planned as Small World Theatre teams up with Swallow Boats and recreates a Viking raid on a Welsh village!

This exciting activity is happening on Saturday 25 August. Small World will run costume making and drama workshops for children and set sail in the Viking ship from Prince Charles Quay to plunder the poor villagers on the other side. Cardigan Quays Festival is full of exciting things to do. This year we will have another fantastic Makers Fair in the large warehouse showing the wonderful things that people around Cardigan make both for pleasure and profit. Expect something to interest everyone, from harps and yachts to patchwork and spinning.
