Box Carts

A SMALL WORLD THEATRE ACTIVITY

Here's a chance for parents and children to share the excitement of building a box cart together and then enjoy hours of fun racing it!

Working in Small World Theatre's workshop, you will build a box cart with a simple steering set-up that can be taken away and decorated. We will provide the materials and as we have to buy the wheels, please let us know you're coming by 21 March. Families/ friends work on one Box Cart in groups up to 4 including at least one adult. This workshop is suitable for children ages 8+ and is limited to 10 box carts.

Booking a place on this activity ~ Terms and Conditions
Please help us by booking early and definitely by 21 March, booking is essential as we are limiting the workshop to 10 teams making 10 box carts.  As this is another bespoke workshop, we run it with minimum and maximum numbers in mind and carefully calculate the costs so that materials and the leaders' fees are covered by the course fees.  

Payment
The cost of this workshop is £40 per box cart.  We require full payment before the workshop and we recommend paying for your place online. Please present a printed copy of your emailed booking confirmation to the workshop leader on arrival.

Alternatively Small World Centre is open Tuesday - Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm if you'd like to pay in cash/ cheque. A member of staff will be available during these opening times to advise you. Tickets are non-refundable except when a workshop is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, in which case Small World will refund you.
