The Last Illusion is a new show created by international street theatre company Bash Street Theatre. With music, circus skills, silent comedy and illusions, this family show will take you on a poignant ‘magical mystery tour' to the past - and back again!

The story involves a retired magician and his wife who look back and remember the good old days spent ‘treading the boards' in the variety theatres of a bygone age. But when a theatrical agent needs a last minute replacement act for a local cabaret evening, René and Renaldo agree to come out of retirement - and prepare for one last farewell performance.

Based in Penzance in Cornwall, Bash Street have performed at major festivals in 18 European countries, as well as in Japan, Hong Kong, Israel, Egypt, Macau and South Korea. Find out more about the marvellous Bash Street Theatre Company, bashstreet.co.uk

 
Guests are invited to arrive at 5.30pm to watch a new performance created by children taking part in the Clowning Festival.

Booking your seats - Terms and Conditions

Booking Online
We like people that book ahead! You can book tickets online through this website up until 2pm, Thursday 11 April and by clicking the BOOK icon at the bottom of this page. Remember to let us know if you've booked tickets online and you are part of a group, as we can arrange that you all sit together.  Please bring a print out of your booking to present to the door staff on the night. Booking at the Box Office
Alternatively you can book tickets in person by visiting our office Tuesday - Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm. Please pay by cash/ cheque and you will be issued with tickets to take away. Doors will be open at 5.30pm and there will be a bar available before the children's performance and during the interval. The Last Illusion begins at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £8 for adults and £3 for children under 16
