Reach People Through Creativity - Group Work Through Drama

This 1 day taster course will show practitioners and support staff how to engage young people and promote personal development through creative and exciting drama and group work activities.

Students will experience a range of creative techniques and approaches to engaging often hard-to-reach individuals through group work.  Teaching will be flexible and responsive and facilitation methods will be based on experiential learning to reflect the needs of students and their client groups.

• planning and delivery
• assessing appropriateness of activity and project for particular client group
• the importance of support, feedback and evaluation
