Come to a wonderful community event at Small World tonight! The Cardigan Allotment Group are preparing an array of delicious light supper dishes to get you in the summer mood. There will also be storytelling by Small World Theatre and Ted Clarke, and two exceptional choirs collaborate for the evening.  We welcome the upbeat and much loved sound of Cangen (Lou Lauren and friends), and superbly sensitive and responsive 14th - 17th centurary music from The Scaramella SingersTickets available on the door £10

Between 3pm and 7pm, Roger Winfield's small orchestra of Aeolian Harps will serenade us from Small World's terrace.  Drop by to hear this magical sound which never fails to astonish audiences of all types and ages. What a wonderful beginning to a summer feast! Coming to see/ listen to the harps is FREE.

The Summer Feast begins at 8pm and offers delicious, locally grown food, some lovingly produced by Cardigan's Allotment Group and prepared under the attentive eye of local gastronome Tom Bean. You'll get a chance to sample a range of mid-summer supper dishes for the price of your entrance ticket!  The dishes will include:

a range of summer salads
home made dips including a beautiful beetroot dip, hummus and tzataiki
allotment grown crunchy carrot and celery sticks for dipping
home baked bread
potatas bravas

A summery granita for afters

Enjoy the mellifluous voices of Lou Laurens and friends and The Scaramella Singers who will perform a whole range of musical styles and voices including folk, 14th - 17th Century songs (including a few bawdy ones), trad jazz classics, blues and spirituals songs. Don't miss some great solo parts and the evocative harmonies of two astounding groups.

Also expect Ted Clark, an extraordinary performer and Small World Theatre to capture your imaginations and bring tales to your table!

Your ticket price includes foodWe're offering £10 tickets to adults and £7 to children aged 12 and under.

Booking Tickets to a Small World Event
We like people who book in advance and often decide a seating plan before a live event. Please let us know if you're joining a party of friends and need to be seated together. We can recommend paying for your ticket online and please present a printed copy of your receipt on arrival. Alternatively Small World Centre's open times are Tuesday - Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm if you'd like to pay in cash/ cheque. Tickets are non-refundable except when a live event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, in which case Small World will refund you. Thank you.
