Maya is well known for her quirky collage and her art installations like ‘Magic Wardrobe' and the ‘Upside down Tea Party'. Inspired by the concept of recycling and regenerating discarded objects, she creates new work using old images. Please give the box office a call if you want to come along as there's only 2 places available, thanks 01239 615 952.
In this workshop you will be guided through the basics of creating a collage using the theme of ‘Life Story', whether your own or someone else's.
Bring a pair of good scissors, a craft knife and a cutting board if you have one and any magazines/ imagery you might want to use. The artist will bring some magazines that the group is welcome to dip into.
Visit kissmitten.co.uk for more information and examples of Maya's work.
