Cardigan Allotments Coffee Morning
You are invited to the Cardigan Allotments Coffee morning
on Saturday 12th December at the Guild hall Cardigan. We will be serving fair-trade drinks and there will be produce for sale like jams and chutney. You can view an exhibition which has stories about the allotments going way back in Cardigans history. You can talk to allotment holders and find out how to join.
A raffle is available with great prizes including £50 to spend at Howies, a set of hand gardening tools, donated by Brondersbury garden centre, an organic vegetable hamper from local grower Alice Holden and bike cleaning and water proofing from cardigan bike shop and organic wine from Go Mangoes. Thanks to all our donators.
You can join the allotment association at any time with only a small fee of £15. We have a constitution and a dedicated committee and we meet regularly. There are members with a lot of experience who can give you ideas and help. There is a lot to do to improve the allotments which have been neglected for many years. We want to improve the soil, make paths and maintain hedging and trees.
